Traditional Chinese Medicine is a holistic medicine that helps the body find better physical and energetic balance through the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Each patient is treated as an individual, and treatment is uniquely tailored to suit the needs of each individual.
Michelle Thelen, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac, M.S.T.C.M. is a practitioner of Chinese Medicine including Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Tui Na massage. She earned her Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. Considered one of the top schools for Oriental Medicine, this program included clinical internships with some of the country's leading acupuncturists, such as Matt Callison, L.Ac. and Yuan Wang, L.Ac. Michelle has completed internships with San Diego Hospice and with the Lutheran Senior Center. Specialty studies in Oncology, Dermatology and Pediatrics were also included in her training. She is also a skilled massage therapist and has over 14 years of experience working on pain and injuries.
